Printmaking is absolutely irresistible, one of the oldest and at the same time most modern form of art. It is the world where there are no rules left — only the ones you make for yourself. It makes simple things into treasures and small ideas into big ones.

A line made on paper with a pencil is a doubt; the line made on the plate and printed is the statement.

In this three day workshop we will push the norms and stretch the horizons of possible. You will do what you didn't think you ever would — play with sharp tools, use color in a way you did not know it's possible, rub, wipe, roll, scratch, paint, thick, thin; run the plate through the press and have a print of your own, one of a kind print. www.simonkogan.com
