This workshop is an opportunity for artists to sculpt a life-size portrait in clay, working directly from the model. Designed for all levels of ability, Rick Casali's innovative teaching style embraces the French concept of "secret figure" - a knowledge/concept approach to understanding the Portrait. This unique 4 day workshop will consist of daily sculpture demos by Casali covering proportion, pose, geometric planes, and the anatomy of the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and the forms of the hair.
