During this workshop, students will observe and participate in the complete process of creating a painting. Students will experience a variety of subjects including nude figure, portrait, still life, and even one day working from photographs. Every morning the instructor will provide detailed demonstrations to show how a painting is developed. In addition to design, drawing, value and color, Bitney will demonstrate methods to deal with frustrating mid-stages, overcome fears, make improvisational changes and resolve problems. The instructor will finish one painting outside of the workshop to show students the result of his techniques.
