One of the most important disciplines in traditional art is drawing. This workshop will focus on how to improve your drawing skills using common sense
methods as measuring, plumbing, and the angularity of shapes and how they relate to each other. We will be doing exercises with gesture, contour and a final rendering. Drawing from life is very important, but other alternatives will be explored. Let’s take the guesswork out of where to start, how to finish and more importantly how to become more accurate. The Student will come out of this class with a different outlook and a new love for drawing. Trust me, if your drawing improves so will your paintings!
  • Daily Schedule
  • Morning: drawing, snack break, painting
  • Afternoon: lunch, ceramics and mixed media
