This is an indoor class designed to prepare students for plein air painting. This class will cover the desired equipment needed for outdoor painting and prepare them to attend future outdoor plein air classes. Students are encouraged to bring outdoor equipment if owned, or this class will aid them in knowing what to purchase. How to pack equipment efficiently with the bare minimum of supplies will be covered.

Students will paint studies from photos, helping the student understand how to simplify what they see and create a study from the scene. Demonstrations will be done daily. Photos will be supplied by the instructor. This class is a must for anyone wanting to start or improve on plein air painting. www.goochstudio.com
