With frequent demonstrations, hands-on instruction and working from the live model, students will be covering the many aspects of painting the figure and portrait in the intimate interior setting. Focusing on the essential building blocks of art (shape, value, color, edge and drawing) students will learn how to confidently and systematically approach the complexities of the most difficult yet most rewarding of all subjects...the human figure. We will also cover the many facets of creating ambiance (mood, atmosphere, lighting and composition) as it pertains to integrating the figure in an environment. www.listonart.com
