This 9-week course takes students on a journey of discovery including an overview of art history and a study of color painting secrets from the Renaissance through Modern Art. Suitable for painters of every level, course work includes four completed paintings from four periods of art history…and teaches the techniques of traditional color glazing, scumbling, impressionistic visual color effects, fauvist expressionism, and modern art experimentalism in color flow. Become confident with color by learning more than 7 important color techniques which are each a roadway to mastery and find out which might best give you the tools to match your inner voice.

No class on April 27th.
