Explore the vibrant and powerful art of American painter, Georgia O’Keeffe in this 4-week oil painting class for beginners and experienced painters alike. Engage with the subjects of O’Keeffe’s work through studies and your own original work inspired by her desert landscapes, flowers and animal skull paintings. Learn about value, light, color, temperature, and composition through exercises walking you through the oil painting process. By thumbnail sketching, setting up still lifes, and taking reference photos, move through the process to develop your own painting influenced by O’Keeffe’s themes and semi-abstracted painting style.
