Two Tchaikovsky classics bookending a new BSO co-commision!

Join Osher at Dartmouth for a musical day at the Boston Symphony Orchestra for this special performance with Conductor Andris Nelsons, Violinist Hilary Hahn, and Cellist Seth Park Woods. The performance will start off with Tchaikovsky's Polonaise from Eugen Onegin (1877 - 1878 with revisions in 1880, 1885, and 1891), will continue with Carlos Simon's Double Concerto Suite for violin and cello (BSO co-commision) (2025 - 2026), and then will end with Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, Act 2 (1891 - 1892).

We will travel to Boston, departing from Lebanon at 8:15 AM. We will arrive in Boston about two hours before the performance begins at 1:30 PM, leaving time for you to explore on your own! We will leave Boston immediately after the performance, returning to Lebanon around 6:30 PM.

This event is open to the public – registration is required. Your registration fee includes the cost of transportation and admission to the performance; it does not include meals or other expenses.

    NOTE: Have a ticket to the performance already or want to spend time in Boston without attending the symphony? There's a special bus-only option for each of our BSO trips. On arrival in Boston (around 11:00 AM), you'll disembark with everyone else at Symphony Hall. From there, the afternoon is yours! Meet us back at Symphony Hall at 3:45 PM to board the bus for the return trip home.
