Enjoy conversations about new exhibitions at the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth. Look carefully at specific works. Discuss, analyze, and interpret pieces within and across the exhibits. Reflect and react personally to the themes presented. Have fun with art with new friends and neighbors.

November 12: Shared Ground: Asian American Art in Conversation
December 10: The Changing Figure in American Art
This course will consist of discussions between the Study Leader and participants.

The Docent Team at the Hood come to their roles with a wealth of experience in both the art world and in education. Some of the docents are former curators, others worked in the art auction world, some are former educators. All are fully engaged in the effort to bring the art collection at the Hood to life through group discussion and personal discovery.
