Are you a Harry Potter fan? Do you have a wand (or more than one)? Would you like to meet with others who share the same interest? Osher at Dartmouth's newest Shared Interest Group (SIG) is your chance!

Here are some possible topics we could discuss:

• Magic Spells: Wingardium Leviosa, Accio, Ridikkulus, Protego, and so many more. When and how to use them.
• Supporting characters throughout the series: Hagrid, Neville Longbottom, Minerva McGonagall, Lupin, the Weasley twins, Luna Lovegood, Wormtail.
• Magic creatures: Dragons, elves, goblins, centaurs, dementors.
• Short but important appearances: Dobbie, the Minister(s) of Magic, Crabbe & Goyle, the basilisk, Seamus, Colin, the ghosts.
• The role of Quidditch in the series.
• Universal Studios’ Harry Potter Worlds.
• “The Book” versus “The Movie” comparisons.
