Spanish Grammar & Conversation, Part 2 of 4 (Zoom)

Winter (9 - 13.5 hours) | Registration opens 11/23/2026 12:00 AM EDT

Using a helpful textbook and specially curated YouTube videos, Mr. Kaplan teaches Spanish in a fun, interactive, and very effective way. This class is the second semester of a year-long class. This is not for people who are total beginners to Spanish. Students should already be familiar with basic pronunciation, noun gender, adjectives, and “el, la, los, las”. These are some basic things that were covered in the first semester. This semester we will extensively study the present tense (regular and irregular verbs), and later the simple future, present progressive, future, and conditional tenses. We learn, practice, and speak aloud. No homework or tests. Join us as we do grammar exercises, watch Spanish language videos, and speak in Spanish to each other. It's an easy way to learn how to speak the second most spoken language in America. Learning a foreign language has also been shown to delay or reduce the onset of dementia.

This course will combine lecture with class discussions.
