The Art and Science of Selling a Home (HyFlex: )
Winter (4 - 8.5 hours) | Registration opens 11/23/2026 12:00 AM EDT
What is your home really worth, and is the highest offer always the best offer? Selling a home is more than a financial transaction. It combines market forces, pricing strategy, marketing, negotiation, psychology, contracts, and often a significant emotional transition. This course explores the journey from the decision to sell through closing, inviting participants to consider the choices, trade-offs, and unexpected turns along the way. Homeowners, prospective sellers, downsizers, those helping family members sell, and anyone curious about the process are welcome. Through examples and “What would you do?” scenarios, we’ll consider how homes are valued and prepared, how buyers make decisions, what makes an offer compelling, and what can happen after an offer is accepted. Lecture and visual presentation, discussion, and case studies will encourage participants to share perspectives and explore both the art and science of selling a home. No prior knowledge or required reading.
