Paint is a colored substance, spread on a surface. The magic of painting is turning paint into color. Making the colors tell a story, giving a viewer butterflies, mesmerizing – that is composing in color. Students will start with simple still life, progress to the model and then into complex settings. Students will whisper a mood with the color and learn to let the color talk.
