“Color that expresses the light key of nature can make any subject strikingly beautiful.”
—Camille Przewodek
This workshop introduces a way of seeing and using color to paint outdoor light; capturing the time and type of day by expressing the various light keys of nature. The first two days, students will paint outdoor still life (crucial study that will prepare students to tackle the landscape on Wednesday and Thursday). On Friday, students will study the clothed figure outdoors. Students are encouraged to bring original artwork or photos and talk to Camille about their vision as artists during the week. Camille is an acknowledged authority on color that regularly serves as an entry and awards judge.
