This class is an introductory course to the medium of acrylic paint. Acrylic paint offers a variety of advantages, including being quick to dry and easy to layer. Acrylic mediums help give acrylic paint a lot of flexibility in its use, giving acrylics different textures, slowing drying time, etc. In the class, students will learn how to use acrylics and experiment with different mediums to explore different effects. Demos (short, I promise!) will be followed by students setting up using still life objects as reference, photo reference, whatever the student chooses.
