Painting portraits can be intimidating to say the least, but I want to show you how to let go of that fear! In this class you will need some drawing skills behind you to achieve good contour drawings for your paintings. We will dissect the face and put it back together, and from there I will show you how to cross those lines to get good connecting shapes within your subjects and to your backgrounds. We will concentrate on composition, the use of color, lights and darks, and where to use soft and hard edges.
