Painters often use photographic references when creating works of art. During this two-day class, students will paint the subject of their choice using their photographic reference. The painter must understand that photography often misrepresents the true relationships of the value, color and perspective. With guidance, the student will learn to consider the photographic reference as raw material, to be interpreted rather than slavishly copied. Let’s make “art” from photographic reference! This class is open to all levels of experience and all mediums! Please bring several photos of interest to each class. Students may choose to paint still life arrangements. This class is open to all levels of experience and all mediums. www.robertlemler.com
