These online courses provide training for California Home Care Aides working with older adults or others who need extra, non-medical care in their home.

This course meets the five-hour annual requirement for re-certification for California Home Care Aides and provides basic information about the aging process, communication with older adults, diseases and conditions, and basic personal care.

Course Delivery
Blackboard, the University of Arkansas' online learning system, is your portal to class information.   • The program is available to California residents only. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. All courses meet the continuing education requirement for California Home Care Aides and must be completed within 12 months following registration.
