The purpose of this course is to provide social workers and other practitioners effective tools for identifying and diagnosing substance use disorders. This course will review assessment tools and DSM-V diagnostic criteria as well as discuss how to differentiate between mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis.
