Each day, participants will learn about skills in one of the following:
• Monday – welding
• Tuesday – auto and diesel repair
• Wednesday – surgical technology
Camp participants will engage with industry professionals and employers, using their hands and minds to complete a set of three different projects related to the skilled trade professions highlighted in this program.
Snacks and water will be provided, but not lunch. Participants are encouraged to bring lunch. Wear comfortable clothing, pants and closed-toe shoes each day. Students who do not wear closed-toe shoes and pants will not be able to participate and will be sent home. Watch the weather because workshop classroom temperatures will vary.
