This course will provide an overview of multi-sector conservation efforts. In addition, the course will explore recent developments such as the rise of sustainability practices (focused on large Western corporations ~from the 1980s to the present), the effects of the trend toward massive large-scale donations (i.e., Bezos Environmental Fund for 10B) on philanthropy and non-profits, and the convergence of conservation and social wellbeing.
