Working with the Munsell color system, we will learn color mixing techniques and understand specific colors in terms of three-dimensions, hue, value, and chroma. The workshop will focus on a series of mixing exercises designed to help students gain a better understanding of how achieve the colors they desire. Studying with Larine Chung, students will review the historic palettes used by different master painters, both for inspiration and reference.
