Working from portrait models and self-portraits, study the essential techniques and concepts of proportion, line, value, volume, structure, and composition. Our focus will be on the basic concepts of drawing applied to the human form, and visual processing – translating what you see into a compelling portrait using simple techniques. No class July 4!
