Go on location and create detailed interior drawings. Urban sketch artist, Steve Reddy, will teach a step-by-step process to avoid being overwhelmed by complex indoor scenes. Begin with how to select a scene, and learn tips for breaking down complex interiors into basic shapes and contours. Then, bring work to life with ink washes and learn graphic shading techniques to refine the details. The first set of classes will meet at Gage Capitol Hill, and then be on location at nearby indoor spaces, as determined by class and instructor.

  • • 2 or 3 small containers for diluted ink (Small glass containers with lids will be available for $2 each in class)
  • • Small collapsible stool for working on location
  • All the supplies needed for Steven Reddy’s classes are available at Artists and Craftsman on 45th Ave. He has them stock his supplies specifically.
