This course will introduce you to collagraph printmaking. You will create inked dimensional collages to print onto printmaking paper. You can craft images as simple as a basic shape or as complicated as a portrait or cityscape using materials you find in everyday objects, such as painter’s tape and bubble wrap. You will get practice constructing collagraph plates and printing them with ink on paper in both intaglio and relief styles of plate inking. After the course is completed, participants will find they look at everyday recyclable materials in a new light!
