BECOME A MONITOR! https://www.gageacademy.org/opportunities/

Learn the fun and playful printmaking technique of monotype. Monotype is a basic printmaking technique where artists draw, paint, use stencils, and otherwise manipulate the smooth surface of a printing plate, typically acrylic or copper. Come and experiment with various materials. Students will create one of a kind art and multiple edition prints. Monotype doesn’t require special chemicals and extensive technical knowledge, and for this reason it is one of the most accessible printmaking techniques. Recommended for all level of experience as well as for painters looking to learn more about the breakdown and structure of images (such as color and composition).
