Explore methods for creating pictorial space using perspective with Core Drawing Atelier instructor Geoff Flack. Drawing from the imagination and observation, you will learn to use one- and two-point perspective and constructive techniques to incorporate perspective into your drawing. In-class drawing exercises, discussions, and one-on-one mentorship are part of each session.

Note: This class does meet in the mornings.

  • Contact office for information in a Blick kit, put together especially for this class.
  • - Jack Richeson (best), Helix or Alvin brand lightweight drawing board that has a metal edge built in – foam or gator board is ok alternative (if foam board - at least ½” thick or more, approximately 24x36, no smaller than 20x30)
  • - T square – 24 or 30” (needs to cover length of longest side of drawing board)
  • - 2mm Faber-Castell TK 9400 Clutch Drawing Pencil (or similar brand) with 2h lead
  • - 12” or greater Triangle (both 30-60-90 and 45-45-90 degree)
  • - 19 X 24” Bristol pad (smooth)
  • - Kneaded Eraser
  • - Tombow Mono or Papermate Tuff Stuff erasure stick
  • - Architects or Engineers Scale
  • - Skewer, bike spoke or size 0 knitting needle – approximately 10” in length
  • - Compass
  • - Artist tape or Drafting dots
