FREE FOR GAGE MEMBERS. Saint-Gaudens was an American Beaux-Arts sculptor working in the style of the American Renaissance. He studied at Cooper Union and the National Academy of Design in New York, the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and also in Rome. After his return to New York he achieved major critical success for his sculptures, monuments and coin designs.
