Learn botanical illustration and investigation techniques, then capture inspirations from the natural world using digital and stop motion animation techniques.

  • 9:30-12:30 - dedicated online class time:
  • Students will learn from instructors in small groups-- viewing live demos and getting feedback on their work in real time. Instructors will assign daily projects for students to complete on their own, enhancing the educational experience and allowing for all-day learning.
  • 1:30-3:30 - Individual work time:
  • Students spend the afternoon working on individual projects, from sketching outdoors to studying a favorite painting, if they have questions while they are working, instructors will be available for daily “office hours” to answer any questions that come up.
  • All of our teen classes have two instructors and two experienced teaching assistants, this 8:1 ratio allows students to break into smaller supervised online groups for individualized learning and reflection.
