Capture the human figure with award-winning and internationally recognized artist Mardie Rees. This two day workshop will show you how to understand body gesture and form - first through drawing and then three dimensionally. Rees will exhibit examples of various works from history's Masters and demo the sculpting process with use of video and images of a female in pose. By analyzing the figure both in drawing and sculpture, students will inherit a unique approach to working the figure, come away with a more comprehensive understanding of the process, and make compelling works on their own.
