Paint flowers with watercolor or use colored pencil/markers. Paint using a photo of a flower with a solid color background to capture the details.

  • Materials:
  • Close up photo of your favorite flower
  • Colored Pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Eraser
  • Mixed media paper (alternatives: Bristol or watercolor paper)
  • Watercolor paint set
  • Cup for paint water
  • Watercolor brushes – big wash brush and large round tip
  • Paper Towels
  • Artist’s tape or Painter’s tape
  • Optional: Cardboard, clipboard, or something to tape or clip your paper on to (this will allow you to lift up your art to the webcam to show the instructor)
