Drawing urban scenes on the spot, directly from life and not from photographs can feel like an overwhelming task. But Campanario’s incremental method — from composition, to tone, to color — demystifies the process through simple exercises. The class will be taught online from Campanario's studio. By the end of the program, participants should have experimented with different techniques (pencil, ink, and watercolor) and learned useful tips to draw architecture, people, and nature. The class is especially aimed to drawing enthusiasts interested in documenting the world around them, as well as professionals in creative fields who want to reconnect with the practice of observational sketching as a fun and rewarding pastime.
