This informative and useful workshop will address the traditions and practice of drawing by artists from the Renaissance to the present. Included will be the history of materials, basic techniques, form and line development, and color in pastel. Students will complete a number of guided exercises over the two days, followed by group critiques. Questions and discussions are highly encouraged and a goal is developing a personal approach to drawing.
