Deepen your understanding of watercolor through traditional and nontraditional techniques. While in a relaxed online studio environment, explore color mixing, dry brush, wash, wet on wet, glazing special effects, and more. Sharpen your skills and understanding of value, technique, and composition. Each class will start with a demonstration followed by discussion and painting time.

  • • 9x12 140lb cold press watercolor paper Recommended: 9x12 Winsor & Newton cotton watercolor block.
  • • Watercolor paints artist quality.
  • • 1 tube of permanent white gouache
  • • Assorted sizes 2-6 round fine tip watercolor brushes. Princeton Select series synthetic round.
  • • 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch, Princeton Select synthetic flat
  • • 1 pencil
  • • 1 roll artist's tape
  • • Paper towels
  • • Masking fluid or masking fluid pen
  • • 1 container for water
