Learn to paint the figure using a more personal and intuitive approach. Through the use of color light and simplified geometry, you will learn techniques that are applicable to both traditional painting and personalized styles. Painting from the model in space, you will be guided to a broader understanding of what figure painting can be.

  • 1-Pad of drawing paper- 18”x24”
  • Vine charcoal
  • White eraser
  • 1-White artists tape
  • 1-Oil brush – size 6: filbert
  • 1-Oil brush- size 8: filbert
  • 1-Oil brush- size 8: flat
  • 1-Oil brush- size 10: filbert
  • 1-Oil brush- size 10: round
  • 1-Palette knife (medium size)
  • 1-Brush cleaning tank
  • 1-Empty flip-top bottle 2oz
  • 1-Bottle murphy’s oil soap (and an empty clean container)
  • 1-Hand scraper with blades
  • 1-Winsor&Newton Linseed Stand Oil 75ML
  • 1-Gamblin Gamsol 16.9oz
  • 2-16”x20” Stretched & Gessoed canvas
  • 1- Canvas Pad, 10 sheet
