This hands-on workshop will address the core elements of color, brushwork, depth, composition and development of a personal approach to direct landscape painting.
Students will learn practical strategies for improving their landscape painting skills.
Students will complete landscape paintings which will be critiqued by the instructor online.
Included will be video demonstrations of approaches by the instructor and presentations of the history of landscape painting, the materials colors and palettes of landscape painting and practical strategies for improving your painting. Presentations of historic and contemporary artwork and informative documents will occur in each session.
Open to all media and levels of experience.

  • Basic painting classic palette (the same colors can be used for acrylic, watercolor and pastel).
