Painting greens and flowers is one of the most relaxing and fun ways to spend a summer weekend while developing solid painting techniques and refining artistic vision. Through direct observation students will first learn from selected master copy, learning about formal elements such as composition, value structure and color arrangement. We will then design our own Floral/ foliage set up and apply the painting concepts we have learned.

  • 2x Canvas 12”x16” Or Canson Canva paper pad
  • Flat or filbert brushes for oil in 4,8/10 and
  • one small round brushes for detail work
  • Oil colors:
  • Cadmium Red
  • Cadmium Yellow
  • Burnt Sienna
  • Ultramarine blue
  • Yellow ochre
  • Titanium white
  • (These colors are for those who would like to work in limitted palatte. Pleae bring whatever color you'll like to work with)
  • Palatte (paper or wooden)
  • Small solvent cup
  • Rags or paper towels
  • Gamsol
