Learning to “see” is knowing what to actively look for. In this course you will work with four key aspects of drawing that will significantly improve your work. You will learn to think of your subject in terms of the composition of the finished drawing. You will learn to see and draw the proportions of objects and their relationships to other objects. You will develop an eye for perspective. You will gain skill in creating smooth gradations of tone and creating a convincing illusion of light and shadow. Follow along with detailed demonstrations, then apply that info to your own drawings. You will gain speed and confidence in your drawing ability while you create beautiful, finished drawings! The class will consist of a weekly recorded demo + 2 hours in class on Zoom + Email Critiques.
