This workshop takes place at our Georgetown location. Learn the language of color blocking and cut paper collage. In this weekend workshop you will learn to observe, mix and paint acrylic color onto individual sheets of paper that we will use to build a cut paper collage that is observed from the live model. Collage trains the eye to see simple and clear shapes of color, light, and dark while observing the many nuances of the figure. Examples from art history will guide students along their journey to being able to identify clear shapes of color.
