Learn to accurately represent the human form as you follow along with an instructor and model to create a freestanding figure study out of clay.
We recommend that everyone registered for an in-person program at Gage Academy of Art receives full COVID-19 vaccination. Gage leaves the use of face coverings when indoors at the facility up to each individual as masks are not required.

Most of the tools below can be found locally at Seattle Pottery Supply, Artist & Craftsman’s Supply, and/or Hardwicks.
Please have by first day of class - Tools:
- Needle Nose, Wire Cutting pliers
- Measuring Tape
- Calipers
- Clay Modeling Tools
Tools (not required and will be discussed on the first day of class.):
- Stainless Steel Detailing Tool - No. 06 (found at sculpturehouse.com)
- Single Wire End Modeling Tool - No. 404A (found at sculpturehouse.com and at Artist and Craftsman supply Seattle )
