Learn to draw dynamic and detailed illustrations using the five-step technique detailed in Steven Reddy's book, Everyday Sketching and Drawing: Five Steps to a Unique and Personal Sketchbook Habit. Free yourself from fussy erasing and redrawing in pencil, and embrace your natural lines in bold pen and ink contours. Then brush in your tones with diluted India ink before glazing hues in watercolor.

  • We recommend that everyone registered for an in-person program at Gage Academy of Art receives full COVID-19 vaccination. Gage leaves the use of face coverings when indoors at the facility up to each individual as masks are not required.


  • Multi-media sketchbook suitable for wet media, Watercolor brushes (rounds 4-8) and tray-style watercolor kit. A $10 materials fee is required on first day for all other materials.
