Are you ready to bring your drawings to life and capture the beauty of the natural world? Do you paint but struggle with the drawing process? Our beginner drawing class for flora is the perfect place to start!

Learn valuable techniques in value, texture, composition, perspective, and proportions that will help you create dynamic and realistic drawings. The techniques learned in class will prepare you to go further in your art practice.

Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way. Plus, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with other aspiring artists and share your work. Optional field trip to the Volunteer Park Conservatory.

  • We recommend that everyone registered for an in-person program at Gage Academy of Art receives full COVID-19 vaccination. Gage leaves the use of face coverings when indoors at the facility up to each individual as masks are not required.
