Take your portraits to the next level. Explore loose, realistic, and expressive watercolor portrait techniques with artist Willow Heath as she demonstrates her techniques and demystifies her portrait painting process. Each week we will explore a different theme, such as; expressions, painting eyes, color mixing, design, more. You’ll watch Willow’s live painting and enjoy artful discussions while building your own portrait portfolio.
• 9x12 140lb cotton watercolor paper. Recommended: 9x12 Winsor & Newton cotton watercolor block or Blick Premier cotton.
• Watercolor paints, professional quality. Winsor & Newton, Sennilier, Daniel Smith, Holbein etc.
• Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-6.
• 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch. Recommended: Princeton Select synthetic flat
• 1 pencil
• 1 roll artist's tape Recommended: Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Washi Tape .7
• Paper towels
• Scissors
• 1 Pebeo Brand drawing gum masking fluid pen
• 1 container for water
• Saral Brand transfer paper or other graphite transfer paper.
• PRINTER: MUST HAVE ACCESS TO A PRINTER FOR REFERENCE MATERIALS
