Foundation Figure Drawing

Class | Registration closed 9/17/2024

LOCATION NOTE: This class will be taking place at our brand new South Lake Union location, 2107 Westlake Ave.

In this class, you will embark on a journey towards technical mastery and intuitive understanding of the human form. Starting from quick gesture drawings to longer, more thoughtful poses and drawings, you will learn to incorporate proportions, form, structure, and the use of light and shade to depict volume. The class will place a strong emphasis on essential measuring techniques, observational skills, and value relationships throughout the course. By the end, you will have gained a foundation in figure drawing and be well-equipped to continue your practice independently.
