Animation is for everyone, whether you’re someone who is passionate about animated media or you are simply curious to expand your knowledge of sequential art and how it is evolving in the modern era. In this course, each week we will learn how to make hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animations digitally. Classes will focus largely on creating unique, mini-short animations that also help to teach the principles of animation, with assignments ranging from stick figure animations to charming animal animations. We will also cover tricks of the trade in Clip Studio Paint. Students will walk away with at least 5 different short animated sequences and the knowledge of how to animate hand-drawn, frame-by-frame animation.
