LOCATION NOTE: This class will be taking place at our South Lake Union Location.

Strengthen your knowledge and understanding of the versatile and magical medium of watercolor with artist, Willow Heath. During this course you will dip into the vast pool of different watercolor approaches such as ; loose, realistic, landscape, still-life, portrait, and abstract. Allowing you to experiment and find the approach or theme that resonates with you as an artist. Demystify color mixing, palette set up, techniques, special effects, glazing, preserving, and more in this 5 week crash course. Whether you are new to watercolor or a seasoned professional, this workshop will build your knowledge of watermedia and add to your artistic toolbox.

  • • 140lb cotton watercolor paper. Recommended: 9x12 Arches or Blick Premier cotton.
    • Watercolor paints, professional quality. Pan or tube set. Winsor & Newton, Sennelier, Daniel Smith, Holbein etc.
    • Assorted round watercolor brushes assorted sizes 2-12. Recommended: Princeton Select series round or Princeton Velvetouch round.
    • 1 flat watercolor wash brush size 1 inch.
    • 1 pencil
    • 1 roll of 3M Scotch Delicate Surface Painter's Washi Tape .7
    • Paper towels
    • Scissors
    • 1 Sakura Gelly Roll, White pen size 8 or 10
    • 1 Pebeo Brand drawing gum masking fluid pen o.7mm or other masking fluid
