Brush Hour: Beginner Charcoal Portrait

Working from the same photo reference, students will follow along with the instructor as they share a step-by-step recipe for drawing a face using vine charcoal. This class is a great way for folks to try out portraiture for the first time!
Angeline Shrike
Angeline Shrike trained at Gage Academy of Art’s Classical Atelier program as well as at various other institutions including Concept Design Academy, Brainstorm Academy, and The Workshop Academy to name a few. Her skills include digital entertainment arts to classical figure drawing and painting. Angeline incorporates traditional drawing and painting techniques with contemporary practices in hopes to combine the benefits of both schools of thought.
