Intergen: Ink Making From the Kitchen
Weekend Workshop | Available (Membership Required)
This one could be focused on turning items from the kitchen into ink. In the first 30 mins of class students will make two inks. One from berries and another from coffee grounds. Students will next learn how to manipulate color with pH modifiers. Students will then create an ink painting using the inks. Students will leave with other ideas of how to turn kitchen compost/items into ink to continue the fun at home.
This class is part of our Intergenerational class series. These classes are designed to bring youth and their guardians/parents/grandparents together to share the joy of making art together.
This is not just for kids, it is also for adult siblings, adult children and elderly parents. It really is open to everyone.
