Pop Art Painting + Contemporary Dance
Youth Kids | Available
Our kids camps are split up into two sessions, an art component and a movement component. Students are split into two groups by age and switch sessions halfway through the day.
Art: Pop Art Painting with Dovey Martinez
In this fun and vibrant class, children will dive into the colorful world of Pop Art! Inspired by iconic artists like Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, students will learn how to create their very own bold, eye-catching portraits. Using bright, contrasting colors and dramatic outlines, they’ll experiment with repetition and playful patterns to make their artwork pop!
Movement: Contemporary Dance with Joan Swartwood
This is where kids get to let loose and discover the power of movement. Through contemporary dance, campers will explore new ways of moving and express their feelings through dance in a supportive environment to build confidence, coordination, and creativity. At the end of the camp, they’ll showcase their new moves with a special performance for family and friends!
